Our Story
At the heart of Elusa lies a deeply personal story of memory, place and legacy.
Elusa was inspired by ‘French Charlie’ the late stepfather of founder Will Perkins - a charismatic adventurer who helped shape Will's outlook and quietly sparked his entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2009, Charlie purchased a modest house in the town of Eauze, where the family shared many happy memories before his passing in 2016. When Will and his mother returned in 2022 to support Charlie's parents, something clicked and the seed of Elusa was planted.
Eauze, capital of the Armagnac region and once the ancient Roman city of Elusa, is steeped in tradition, craft and alchemy. Here, among the quiet magic of Armagnac, Will discovered the depth and elegance of the spirit, a discovery that set his path.
Elusa Blanche is a contemporary expression of place and provenance, created to honour Charlie's legacy and to share this remarkable elixir and its story with those who delight in the pleasure of a spirit worth appreciating.
