Elusa French Tommys Margarita

The Tommy’s Margarita simplified the classic: spirit, lime, agave.
Nothing to hide behind. Nothing to distract.

Replace tequila, and the drink changes completely.

Elusa Blanche Armagnac brings fruit instead of earth, florals instead of pepper, softness instead of heat. The structure remains; bright citrus, natural sweetness, clean finish but the personality shifts.

Familiar in form. Unexpected in character. Not a twist. A translation.

  • 50ml Elusa Blanche Armagnac

  • 25ml fresh lime juice

  • 15ml agave syrup (2:1)

  • Ice

  • Fresh lime (garnish)

  1. Shake: Hard with good ice.

  2. Strain: Into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice.

  3. Optional: Light salt rim.

Why Armagnac works!

Tequila delivers impact. Blanche Armagnac delivers clarity.

Distilled from Folle Blanche grapes in Gascony, Elusa carries orchard fruit, white flowers, and a gentle roundness that integrates seamlessly with lime and agave. The acidity sharpens the aromatics; the agave anchors the finish. The result is lighter, fresher, and quietly complex.

A margarita that invites another sip instead of demanding one.

WHY IT WORKS

Classic Tommy’s: bold, earthy, sharp citrus contrast.

French Tommy’s:

  • More aromatic

  • Softer entry

  • Fresher finish

  • Naturally balanced sweetness

It feels longer and more refreshing; less punch, more precision.

TASTING NOTES

Aroma: Fresh lime, white grape, blossom

Palate: Citrus brightness, pear, gentle sweetness

Finish: Clean, dry, lightly floral

A DIFFERENT KIND OF CLASSIC

The goal isn’t to replace tequila.

It’s to show how structure defines a cocktail more than tradition.
When the balance is right, the spirit becomes expression, not category.

The French Tommy’s is instantly recognisable.
Just unexpectedly elegant.

WHEN TO SERVE IT

Early evening
Sunlight
First round, not last

It’s the drink that starts the night properly.
